Customer had a POP3 email account that had an Archive Folder.  She uses that Archive folder a lot.  Lucky for her she backup the OUTLOOK folder with all that email data.  On her new comnputer I was able to setup her POP3 email account and downloaded her old outlook.pst file. Her POP3 email is working but her Archive Folder is not working.  How do I reconnect her Archive folders

    Hello - She has Office 2007 and Outlook 2007

    Accepted Solution

    Put the archive .pst file where she wants to store it.

    Open the old archive .pst file
        File-> Open-> Outlook Data File…

    Modifying the AutoArchive settings otherwise Outlook will simply create a new archive.pst file in the original location.
       Tools-> Options…-> tab Other-> button AutoArchive

    In this dialog you can change the “Move old items to:” location to your moved archive .pst file.

    If she archive manually via the File-> Archive…, then make sure you’ll set the location of the archive file to the new location as well.

    Hope this helps
