Does anyone know how to disable broadcast traffic in a cisco vlan?

I am using a Cisco 3750 and have an agent application that use DHCP tag or broadcast to register to its server.  I want to test the DHCP tag capability so I want to disable broadcast on my vlan so that I know it is using DHCP.

Anyone know how to 'turn off' broadcast traffic on my vlan?

You can't. Or at least if you do it will prevent any communication between devices on that VLAN.

The only way would be to create a VACL and deny anything to a destination address of 255.255.255.255.

Ok, thanks.  I hear that some companies do not allow broadcast traffic.
