How would I change a character, like a the letter L to D in a string form a textbox or variable?

I want to change some of the letters in a text box to a different letter.  Like change “L” in Luck to “D” so it says Duck.

Thanks for the help.

this will change all occurences of a particular character, is that what you want, otherwise please specify how you will know which character to change

c# so server side, do you need it client side? then you need javascript string utilities
