Hi Guys,

I am getting this error and cant launch a published app

The Citrix servers reported that they are too busy to provide access to the selected resource. This message was reported from the XML Service at address

Licensing isnt a issue as the qfarm/load is at 100.

I noticed that this will only allow me to log in after 20 or so minutes or immediatly after i rdp to the citrix server.

Any ideas?

Hi Anf,

Check the status of the Citrix XML service on the server in question & see if you are successfully able to TELNET to this server from your WI server on port 80.
Also run the QFARM command-line utility with /LOAD switch on the server. If the load value is reported as 10000, then the server will not allow any more sessions to run.

Hi

The XML service and the web interface are on the same box. this is in testing and only once connection is in use, why would it not allow any more connections in?

thanks

Free Tool: ZipGrep

ZipGrep is a utility that can list and search zip (.war, .ear, .jar, etc) archives for text patterns, without the need to extract the archive's contents.

I did this and it went to 100 straight away. I already had the default load evaulator in place, its only when I rdp into the citrix box, people can launch the desktop app via WI.

Hi Anf,

So we need to reduce farm load on the server so that issue can be resolved. You can use farm load manager functionality to achieve this. You can find guidelines to do this are as in below link:
