Unable to open files in IE, but save them to disk work

Vista 64-bit with IE 9, using the 32-bit version of IE.

Saving files from webpages are fine (save target as) but then open them directly IE seems to download them ( I can see the %-mark från 1 to 100 %) but this end with "Could not download file.pdf"

This is not only for pdf:s but for many other formats to.

Try running IE9 with no add-ons and see if that changes.
If not, try reinstalling IE9, I would start there.

Martin_Radbo--Perhaps of help for pdf but may help other files.

(Be aware what using the Reset button will do

What version of Adobe Reader do you use?  There was some incompatibility between IE9 and Reader X when the latter was first released.  A subsequent update should hav solved the matter.
