Recommended online tools to manage new changes to code from suggestions and bugs?

Hi,

We need to put in a system to record new mods to code and to manage the lifecycle through testing and port to live. The system will also enable sales people to enter new ideas for development.

I could build this myself, but I want to check out whether there were some good recommended online tools that folks are using. I am aware of a number like ZenDesk, but they are quite expensive at $49/agent/month.

Thoughts much appreciated,

Sam

I use SharePoint to do that...would help if you have sharepoint for intranet.
You just setup a list for people to log change requests, with their datails and date -and have columns for dev to input comments and due date where applicable.

Hi Norman,

Yes I am aware of Sharepoint. The issue with this is that my client's customers will need to access this as well to raise new ideas and my client does not have Sharepoint unless we use Office365.
