We have a requirement from one of our client.
1. Intergrate Exchange with  sharepoint, WPS,Backbase, Liferay applications.
2. As of now they have installed sharepoint,WPS,Backbase and liferay apps.
3. We need to install exchange 2007 64 bit so that it integrates with them portal and users should be able see the calender from the portal.

We need to do this in a pilot environment and if it is succesful we will implement in production.

Please advice me the installation procedure to integrate all the applications with Exchange 2007.

Atleast w.r.to E2k7OWA and SPS server

>> You can configure the SPS web-part to show the calendar with Basic or Integrated Authenticaion

At the E2k7-CAS server:
By default "OWA" is configured with FBA ...so the default web-part with the url https://cas-server/owa/calendar (similar URL) would result in the FBA logon page.

Just to get the Basic or Integrated Authentication for the OWA URL, we need to change the authentication settings from "Exchange Management Console"
(This will affecte for the OWA users too)

Else, we can create second web-site binding to some other IP-Address and then create new OWA v.directory @ the second web-site using the commands

Note: You can use this URL for the SPS and modify the authentication settings...which will not affect the OWA behaviour for other users

In my lab, i have SPS 2010

> When i access my sps site using the url

Edit page
"second icon" from the "Site Actions"
Insert menu @ the "Editing Tools"
Insert button --> Web Part --> Outlook Web App --> My Calendar
Add the "My Calendar" using the add button @ this page

When you choose the "My Calendar" web part, you should see another tab called "Web Part Tools" with Option button
Choose the "Web Part Properties"
now you should see the details about the
a) Mail server address
b) mailbox
