So...the problem is you can't get to the Internet when you're connected via VPN to your office network? &nbsp;Do you have the &quot;Use gateway on remote network&quot; checkbox checked in the IP properties of the VPN connection?

A strange problem - I have win 7 pro on a laptop connected via LAN in the hotel and internet does not work - but works on my other laptop. Strangely I can connect my work VPN and even browse the work network and use e-mails in outlook. I thought it a virus but sophos comes up clean and nothing suspicious in task manager that I can see. Also I checked IE connection settings for proxy<br />
