    Accepted Solution

Dont do it! Save the files to disk and just save a file location in the sql database. Its far far more eficient and time saving.

    Assisted Solution

Look at the FILESTREAM Option of SQL itself if you are using SQL Server 2008 R2

We're actually going to do both.
Saving into a blob as well as a folder with a filepath stored on the server table.
The wav file(s) will be cleaned out monthly
At that point if (ever) needed, can stream from blob.
    Blobs removed every quater
