Easy way to transfer companyweb from SBS 2003 - SBS 2008

I want an easy way to transfer companyweb from my old Sharepoint setup on SBS 2003 to my new SBS 2008 server.

I've done a Sharepoint migration from 2 - 3 quite recently so I have some background knowledge.

Do I need to dcpromo the old server and join it to the new domain on the SBS 2008 server?

the assumption is that the two servers are on the same domain.

in your response above, it sounds like putting the servers on the same domain is an option.  if that's the case, then i'd recommend you do that.  if you aren't able to put them on the same domain, you're not doing to be able to transfer using those steps.  most likely, you'd need to do something more manual, like exporting & importing content.

This ended up doing the job for me, I answered my own question really, but thanks for trying.
