Exchange Monitoring

I am looking for recommendations for Exchange Monitoring.  We have a 3rd party software that sends alerts through email, but if Exchange is down we obviously don't get them and would like to know before the users report it.  Does anybody have any recommendations what they maybe using that could send to a cell phone, etc?

we use Manage engine OpManager and found best all over. You can monitor all the service, free disk, memory utilization, cpu utilization etc. And also set mail alert according to your requirement

Simplify Active Directory Administration

Administration of Active Directory does not have to be hard.  Too often what should be a simple task is made more difficult than it needs to be.The solution?  Hyena from SystemTools Software.  With ease-of-use as well as powerful importing and bulk updating capabilities.

I will check all of these.  We currently have a software that monitors disk, CPU, services but the issue we have yet to cover: 1. If exchange is down this software relies on our exchange server to send alerts so I need something for this.

I downloaded SolarWinds but it doesn't appear to be able to send notifications am I missing something?
I am checking Ops Manager now and can MOM/SCOM point to alternate SMTP server?

MOM/SCOM can point to alternate SMTP server, and can user different communication channels. Like send a SMS, send a message via OSD/Lync, run a program, etc

Like shabarinath says, you won't have a best product than MOM/SCOM for monigoring Exchange. It is not limited to monitor services, disk space and so on. It has hundreds of monitors that are already configured via a Magament Pack that includes: Reports, Discoverys, Diagram View, Real Health, etc

@ schnellsolutions: Can you point me to some good documentation on how to set this up/configure?
I'd like to look into it further.
