VMWAare VLANs where does it get the values in the drop down from

I am attempting to add a vswitch and can not see the VLAN i want what is the deal , do i have to define this somewhere else ?

    Just type in the NUMBER (TAG) you require.

    It's that simple!

    I've just typed 675, once you have added the Tag, they are available later in the Pick List!

     Adding a VLAN Tag of 675
