asked on

exchange 2007 certificate renewal

i am running Exchange 2007 on Windows 2008 server.
the existing certificate is about to expire.
i have already requested a new public certificate from our provider and received it already.
i would like to know the steps to replace the existing certificate on the exchange server.
also, i need to replace the certificate on my firewall https listener as well, correct?

thanks,

how did you request the certificate ? if you did everything correctly then you only need to import it using

import-exchangecertificate c:\name.cer | enable-exchangecertificate -service iis

for your "firewall" if you are talking about ISA or TMG or any reverse proxy then yes it should also be installed there
This is a good article on the topic:
http://help.godaddy.com/article/4877
Your firewall manual should give you help on installing it there.
