if a user select an item in their email (Outlook 2003), and then click on the delete icon in Outlook, nothing happens.  If you then click on the icon again, a message pops up “unknown error” and the item goes away.  If you select a message but use the “delete” key on the keyboard instead of the icon, then item simply deletes. You need to get the fix kb2579172 from Microsoft. It is not downloadable. Also do you have sp1 and relevant roll up updates installed.
