Can you type elsewhere on the second monitor, for example in notepad?<br />
Can you type in the search box of firefox?<br />
Can you use keyboard shortcuts in firefox and IE (eg ctrl+t to open new tab)?

Funny thing is that when I click on the display settings, I only see a 1 and not a 2. &nbsp;I guess there's only one monitor that the pc can see?

Really strange issue, <br />

Really strange issue, 

I have dual monitors connected to my Windows 7 Professional HP computer which is connected via a Triton USB vga adapter.  When I attempt to go online, via firefox or IE on my "home screen" which has the start window, everything works fine; however, when I go to the other screen, say screen 2, I can't type anything on the URL section.  

Help!
