HTTPS separate session

I have installed a web page from a third party software provider and when i setup the https with a godaddy ssl, the https in the login page works great, but when i click on a page that isn't ssl encrypted i am logged off.

What would cause that? Any ideas?

Many secure pages are setup to do that so no one can listen in while someone is logged in.  You would have to examine the page code or talk to the provider to find out exactly why.

hmmm, i did before and this wasn't an issue they had run into before and seemed to think it has to do with the server. I don't know much about how to set it up in the first place. Even once i get this issue fixed i need to figure out how to add an additional page that we have made custom ourselves https
Try another browser.  I have this vague memory that IE won't carry cookies between secure and insecure connections.
I tried IE, Chrome, and Firefox to no avail... :/
Turned out to be a value in the ASP portion of IIS. The app needed it to be set to have the login's shared instead of 'requiring separate logins'
I have selected the solution i have because it did have to do with how the app got installed.
