problem changing Hex2Dec in excel

Hi,

I have a problem of converting Hex to Decimal From column H to column I.

HEX2DEC can only have 10 characters. Try using:

=HEX2DEC(SUBSTITUTE(G2," ",""))

i tried using your code on column I but it is not successful.

Not sure what the problem is. I'm working with 2007 and it works. Should work with 2003 also. I'll check on my laptop.

Make sure that the analysis toolpak is installed.

 I should have looked at this more closely to begin with. I didn't notice the code in H column. Use the SUBSTITUTE formula in that column and not the I column. See attached.
