DistributedCOM Error Event-Id 10009

Hello experts

we have hundreds of DCOM errors 10009 in our Event log. The errors only occur if the workstations are switched off. When they are running, we do not have the error. The error occurs then exactly every half hour.

The workstations are all Win 7 x64 Machines.

How can we narrow down the problem? We do not get any information from the event log, except the name of the affected workstation.

Many thanks in advance.

Sorry, I was not precise enough.

I see the errors in the eventlog of our SBS 2011 server and in the log I can see whith which workstations, the communication could not happen.

    Best regards.

The corresponding machines are all in the same subnet, but different from the server. I found the article It helped for our XP machines (also different subnet), which had the same error, but it does not seem to help for our Win 7 machines.

... Unfortunately the errors come up again also with our XP machines, every half hour.

Does anyone have an idea how to narrow down the problem?

    Many thanks.
