Hi All,

please see my attachments (screenshots). That is what most applications look like, the screenshot is an example (MSCONFIG). Funny thing is that this laptop somehow has 2 videocards. I already tried this:

- Update both videodrivers
- Fully uninstalled both videocards and drivers
- Reinstalled with latest videodrivers after reboot
- BIOS update
- Safe mode (screenshots are actually from safe mode)

It is Windows 7 / 64bit on a Samsung NP-SF510-S01NL
Anyone any idea? Screenshot 1 Screenshot 2

do you get the same with an external monitor ?

if you do its a video card problem if you dont its a led/lcd problem that could be a simple cable problem

is your laptop still under warranty ?

Press the Winkey + Pause, select Device Manager and expand the Display Adaptors.
Right mouse click the Intel(R) HD Graphics and select Disable.
Let us know if it changes your view.

Opps forgot to mention that your System has the GeForce GT 310M graphics card.

Click on Start | Control Panel | Display.
Select the first Radio button for 100% and click on Apply.
Seems as if the system may have been set with a custom DPI too large

IanTh: the problem also occurs on an external screen.
rrjmin0: It does not change anything disabling either card.
eXpeLLeD_4RM_heLL: it was already 100%, change to 125 and back does not solve the problem.

have you tried booting with Enable low-resolution video (640×480)?

it sounds like a video card or video memory problem if its the same on the external monitor

I resolved the problem. I ran in normal mode: (command line) : sfc /scannow

It found problems in Windows files / corrupted files. This was fixed by the command given and after a reboot it worked...

Thank you all guys!

You need to re-register some DLLs,
open cmd with admin rights

regsvr32 jscript.dll
regsvr32 vbscript.dll

if problem continue,

regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Urlmon.dll
regsvr32 Msjava.dll
regsvr32 Browseui.dll
