Asp.net

I'm begining with Asp.net and i have one question please.

I was looking the source code of one page and one there is one image with src like this :

I know this is encrypted but . who is going to desencrypt this SRC ...the java script on client side to retrive the image or server side ?

It's not encryption but Base64 encoding. You can decode the string into a byte array and get the image back. No decryption necessary.

If i use some thing like this do I need another JavaScript function to decrypt and send to the server ? If I need to use another function on the client side, the user can see my function and will be able to decrypt too and find the real SCR.

I'm a bit lost at this point.
