Unable to delete repeat appointment sent to iPad
Hi all.
I received an repeat appointment from an external source using exchange last august. I am unable to remove the appointment which prompts me every week as a reminder from my iPad. I can view the details but there is no option to delete when looking at the appointment. I've checked some of the forums and been to the apple store but they were not much help either....?

When you click on the appointment in your iPad, at the bottom should be a red "Delete Event" button. Is this not present? On repeating events, after you click this button you should be prompted "Delete this event only" or "Delete all future events" - in this case, I assume you want the latter.
If the button is not present, try modifying the "Repeat" setting for the appointment and make it a one time appointment.

The appointment was sent by a friend I therefore do not have access to the delete button or repeat function although I can see them. I should also comment this is an ipad 1
Is the calendar syncing with an external calendar? This behavior is by design when View-only (Read-only) syncing to an external calendar.
