patches for SQL SERVER 2005 SP2.

Hi Experts
wanted to ask a question about cumulative patches for SQL SERVER 2005 SP2.

Microsoft On this page I show a cumulative patch list and wanted to know if the patch Build 09.00.3356 (cumulative update) is the latest cumulative patch for SQL SERVER 2005 SP2 and contains previous patches listed on the microsoft page or you have to install all the patches one by one.

When Microsoft releases a service pack, it contains a cumulative update of all patches applied up to that build. If you have already patched your server with some/all of those patches, the installed will detect and skip those files. Any patches released after the SP will have to be applied through microsoft update and can be applied all at once or one at a time if desirec.
