Edit php and html files in the browser

Hi E's, I want install in my server a php and HTML editor, with the objective editing my own files just in the browser, without usual programs like Dreamweaver or php design.
Have any program or script that can I install in my server that do this?

The best regards, JC

I don't have such a script, but it sounds like you might want a thing called an "IDE' and Eclipse is very well respected.

For my own part, I just develop on my PC, then with a single click or two I publish to my web server.  Then I visit the published URL and see it in action over the internet.  It's really a very fast and well-contained test environment!

Do a Google search on "web-based text editor."  One link that came up and sounds like what you want to do and is somewhat interesting is Web Pad:

Totally agree with Ray (post ID:36999320) except for the IDE: I prefer Netbeans www.netbeans.org

I agree with Ray too, and that was what I do frequently. But I like to see this more global, today I'm in Portugal, tomorrow in Spain, next week in another place, different places, different computers, sometimes I have my portable, sometimes desktop and in others a Ipad. That is the reason for I want implement a IDE in my server. All of that machines I have made mention have a common thing, a browser.

I will test your examples, I hope back soon.
