ProBook is not loading image from SCCM 2007

I am trying to install an XP image from sCCM 2007 on to a HP Probook 4530s.  The DHCP loads and the boot.wim runs without issue.  I am able to get the first screen in SCCM but when It should load the screen asking for a password, the computer reboots.  I have installed the nic, graphic and chipset drivers for the probook on to the sccm, I have changed the hard drive and nic settings in the bios but it reboots at the same location everytime.

What is the HDD configured as? AHCI/IDE.

Try rebooting that wim on an older/simpler PC or even a vm and then see.

- Enable command line support on the boot image and press F8 after PE loaded. In the Command box make sure you can access the harddrive (C:\) and you go an ip address (ipconfig)
- Make sure all Packages references by your task sequence are installed on the distribution point (sccm report: packages referenced by a task sequence)
- Post the smsts.log from the clients C:\ or X:\ drive here
