SERVER 2008 CRASH, RESTORING SYSTEM FROM BACKUP, ADMINISTRATOR SESSION FAILED

HI,
The Server have crashed and we were obliged to restore the complete system from the backup. But, strangely, everything is workink, except that we cannot log to the administrator session (the system crash with a sort of memory dump crash message with a blue screen).

However one can access the session in "safe mode".

Question: How to fix the session (doe'nt matter the User, the system crash) and is it possible to "create a new administrator user" in safe mode.

SUPER URGENT AND DIFFICULT,

You can create a new administrative user in safe-mode.  Just do it in AD Users and Computers as you usually would.  You can use the administrator account in safe-mode even if it is disabled.

Create a new user account by copying the Administrator account, then restart the server and login using the new administrative user account.  Then, delete the Administrator's profile and see if you can then login using the normal Administrator account.

Hi,
I knom that I'm late to close this question. But I completely forgot the thing having to much work to do on that server. But the answer"create" a new administrator account is correct. I did it and it solve the problem of having acces to the administrative tools. But I have never understand why the current "administrator account" was not correctly restore by the otherwise perfect backup from Windows 2008 backup utilitity.

Thanks
