Postback in Browser Enabled Infopath 2007

We are designing browser enabled infopaths. We have a requirement where we have to hide and show a set of controls which include a number of rich textboxes, textboxes and date pickers on the click of an option button. We have several other option buttons with same behaviour. The problem which I face is that it takes too much time to show the hidden controls if we are using post back for the option button. In the option button properties we are choosing the option "Only when necessary for the correct rendering of form" under the tab "Browser forms". When we use post back the whole form loads again. Our form is too large which in turn takes too much time.
We tried without postback by choosing "Never" option under the tab "Browser forms" but in that case the conditional formatting is not working and the controls are not getting hidden or shown. We are providing conditional formatting for a section which contains all the controls which are to be hidden.

For large forms, i would suggest to break the form in several views. Something like a wizard with the next and Back buttons. That way you can minimize the data shown/rendered at any point of time.
