Crystal reports asks for password when connecting to Access 2007 database

Hello. I have saved an access file from a sharepoint site and am trying to connect to it via Crystal reports. The report was already developed on another system using that access file.
For some reason, Crystal keeps popping up this RDO (ODBC) Connection information screen with a username/password box. Any ideas on why this might be? I tried to set the access file as a datasource in the control panel trying both System and File DSN. This does not happen on another computer in the office that already had this setup.

Any ideas on why this occurs? We also tried on the same database file that was not loaded from sharepoint and got the same error, so I doubt sharepoint has much to do with it. Thanks all.

    Accepted Solution

Do you have the MS Office 2007 ODBC database drivers loaded?

Crystal doesn't have the native connectionmethod until CR 2011.
You have to use ODBC to connect to an accdb file.
