Forward Exchange 2007 Alias to external email

Hello All,

I was wondering how, if possible to forward emails from an exchange 2007 alias directly to an external email address. Ex

Alias
Web@example.com

Web@example.com already forward to two internal users.  I need to add an external email address to the web@example.com.  When I try to add a user all I get are my company's users and doesn't give me an option to forward to an external address.

Any help is appreciated.  Thank you

you need to create a contact in the exchange in order to be able to send to it. under wxchange managemetn console, recipient configuration, mail contact. you should then be able to choose them as a forward.  if you need to forward to more than one person then you can put that contact into a distribution list as well as internal users.
