Issue with "&" in data field defined as XHTML Text Formatting in cfreport

I have a cfreport that is working perfectly *except* in a data field defined as XHTML Text Formatting = True, if there is an "&" in the data anywhere it will not format as XHTML it will print out as if it was text, I'm getting around that by doing a replace of all "&" with "", however that is only a short term solution so e.g. "Spreck & Associates" in the field would cause the field to print out as if it where text showing all the <> tags, not with the correct XHTML formatting

I think you're supposed to use entities in XML like '&' for a simple '&'.
