You have to Restore your new iphone 4S, and THEN restore your old iphone 3 backup to the new iphone 4S. &nbsp;I think you skipped the restoring part.<br />

I have latest version of Itunes on Windows 7.<br />

I backed up the old &nbsp;iphone 3 OK.<br />
<br />
I have now connected new iphone 4S - it shows up in iTunes.<br />
Have automatically downloaded all purchased apps.<br />

But I cannot figure out how to restore contacts from the backup of the old iphone 3.<br />
I cannot see any sign of the old iphone 3 in iTunes at all.<br />

Hi Experts,

I have now connected new iphone 4S - it shows up in iTunes.
Have automatically downloaded all purchased apps.

But I cannot figure out how to restore contacts from the backup of the old iphone 3.
I cannot see any sign of the old iphone 3 in iTunes at all.
