Silverlight not working Windows 7

Hi experts,

Silverlight was always working on my Win 7 machine running FF 7.0.1 then all of a sudden it stops working completely. The silverlight icon spins around on a website that implaies its trying to load but it never does.
So I tried it on IE8 and exactly the same spinning circle but never loads.

I tried it on Windows XP and it works fine.

I dont recall installing any plugins in FF but just to be sure I disabled all then just ran Silverlight addon but still no dice.

Was there a recent Windows update that may have caused an issue?

Thanks in advance for your help.
