Only 1 Google Chrome opened, Only 1 tab, and 8 items in the TaskManager.  Why!?

Here's my case.   I've only 1 Google Chrome opened, and in this window i've got only 1 tab which is blank.  If i look at the Task Manager, i've got 8 "chrome.exe *32", for a total of 92MB.

I used to say that Google Chrome is better and faster.   For the moment, it's still faster, but at this rate for  how long?!

Does anyone can explain why i'm getting so much Chrome processes?  I thought about the "add-on" like Roboform, Skype plug-in, and a "Color Generator" (which is only a simple color picker).

Any TAB in chrome and any plug-in create personal process. If one of them hang Chrome continue work.

Yes, i understand that, and that's why i've mentionned that i have only 3 "Plug-In", only 1 tab, and it still generate ***EIGHT*** processes.

apparently, this question won't be answered... and it's not an emergency, so i'll figure that someday.  I'll accept this as the solution...

I gave a grade of B because i already mentionned the number of processes, and the number of add-on installed and that i was aware that every tab had its single process.
