We just upgraded from SBS 2003 to SBS 2011 with Exchange 2010. I got everything set up email wise and can sync our phones but not the phone says you must activate security setting sand enter a pin. Is there any way of disabling this. My boss doesn't want to do that every time he uses his phone.

    Accepted Solution

In EMC goto Organizational config, Client access and then the Activesync Policies tab.
Assuming you only have the default policy, open it and make changes.

Better still define a seperate policy with lower security for the boss.

Better better still, educate your boss in security and the fact he has all his company emails on his phone! Sensitive info?
