Windows 7 redirect

I have a pc running windos xp, and I remote into a pc running windows 7 pro.  Problem is my loacal printer isn't redirecting.  I have installed the windows 7 drivers on the 7 machine, do I have to install the xp drivers on the 7 box?

    Have you set your default printer to be the one on the remote pc ?

    Yes on the main PC the default is the printer I am trying to redirect, but on the remote pc it doesn't even show up

    Accepted Solution

    On the machine you are remoting TO, check your Event Viewer for the source "Remote Desktop Services/Terminal Services", and you might get additional information. Or "Print" as the source even......
