Excel - Trim first set number of characters in each cell

Hi,

Please offfer a way to trim and remove all characters in an excel cell (down a column) up to s certain position (e.g. character space 5 in the cell).

Copy this formula down, and then you can paste values over the originals?

=trim(left(trim(a1),5))
