Setting odbc driver DMCleanup=2

We have Unix to Windows application, the developer is asking me to set this option DMCleanup=2  in odbc.ini / configuration file,
is this really exist for this odbc configuration file ??

I can't tell you for sure, but I've never heard of it and the Sybase website doesn't know anything about it.

What is it supposed to do and why does the developer want it? They may be thinking of what it's called for another ODBC driver and perhaps it exists in the ODBC driver for Sybase but with a different name... "DMCleanup" sounds like an Oracle setting to me. (Your developer knows you're using Sybase, yes? :) )

Btw this is not sybase, we have application which db running under Mssql but connecting via Unix application, not sure about oracle as I never have experience with Oracle

Ah. I assumed Sybase because you posted it to the Sybase area. I'll ask moderators to reassign to the correct group.
