I am writing a report using Crystal Reports XI.<br />
<br />
In it i have a cross tab showing patients(row) and dates(cols) and the result of a test for the specific patient/date in the table.<br />
<br />
I would like to show the Average of the values in each column. &nbsp;i.e. the average test result for all the patients on a given date.<br />
<br />
Any idea how i can do this? &nbsp;All i can find at the moment is a way of showing the the totals.<br />

I have already calculated the average in the report by grouping on the date.<br />

I am writing a report using Crystal Reports XI.

In it i have a cross tab showing patients(row) and dates(cols) and the result of a test for the specific patient/date in the table.

I would like to show the Average of the values in each column.  i.e. the average test result for all the patients on a given date.

Cross tab average in Crystal Reports XI.

Crystal Reports is a business intelligence application from SAP SE. It is used to graphically design data connections and report layouts from a wide range of data sources including Excel spreadsheets, Oracle, SQL Server databases and Access databases, BusinessObjects Enterprise business views, and local file-system information. Report designers can place fields from these sources on the report design surface, and can also deploy them in custom formulas (using either BASIC or Crystal's own syntax), which are then placed on the design surface. Crystal Reports also supports subreports, graphing, and a limited amount of GIS functionality.
