sbs2011 premium add-on installation

I have just installed SBS 2011 on a new server and plan a migration from 2003 SBS premium. I have followed the migration documentation plan provided by Microsoft and everything seems fine. My question is when do i install the 2011 (2008R2) Premium Add-on and 2011 (2008) SQL? Should I install them before or after I run the data migration wizards?

If you were using the premium version of SQL on the SBS 2003 then you should install the Premium Add-on first. If not it doesn't matter.

On the MS VLSC under Windows Small Business Server Premium Add-on 2011 it had ISO downloads for Server Standard 2008 R2 & SQL Standard for Small Business Server. I assumed that the add-on for 2008 was the same as the add-on for 2011. When i tried to run the WSS 2008 r2 it gets hung on select the driver to be installed.

Is this the wrong download?
>>"I assumed that the add-on for 2008 was the same as the add-on for 2011."
SBS 2008 was available as  SBS 2008 or as SBS 2008 premium, there was no add on.
SBS 2011 is available as SBS 2011 std or you can buy the premium add-on which includes
-Server 2008 R2 std
-A second licenses doe the Server 2008 R2 std which can be used as a hyper-V host
-SQL
SBS 2008 was based on server std 2008, where SBS 2011 and the premium add on are server 2008 R2

I suspect you have the right download, so long as it is 2008 R2, but you say WSS (Windows Storage server)?
You are instaling the server 2008 R2 on different hardware or as a virtual machine correct?
I should add that when i try to run the download form 2011 i get a windows installer has stopped working error.
Is this install 2008 R2 on another machine, or SQL?
The new machine install is a Windows SBS 2011.

What you are saying makes sense... so how do i convert the 2011 sbs standard to premium so I get SQL? Do i just install the 2008 SQL on the SBS 2011 Standard to make it premium?
Yes. You just use the SQL component to install on SBS, and ignore the Server 008 R2 llicense/install. It does add additional overlead on SBS though by having SQL run on the SBS box on top of all other services. Make sure you have lots of RAM.
Thank you, that is not a problem. Do i install the SQL before i continue with the migration wizard?
If you have SQL components from the old SBS you want to migrate, Yes I would do so, if not you do not have to.
