Database to be read, write and update for 30 users over the web.

I am wanting to create a form with field for 30 items we are tracking at 3,000 locations. I currently have an windows application in Visual Studio 2010 running on a Dev Sql server. I can click thru them currently but can not search.

I will like to eventually host the have this info stored to a SQL 1and1 database. does anyone see any problems with this?

If it is a console app, the first thing is to make sure that the database, wherever you put it, is accessible remotely.  Many web hosts do not allow remote access to databases as a security measure to minimize break-ins.

Making it a web application with a login can work also plus you can easily post updates or information on the web site.  Also gets around the need to make the database remotely accessible.

Other than never ever using 1and1 hosting, no...  You say windows application, don't you mean web application?
