Also, you may not even need downloaded software. Have you tried just adding the printer in the Print and Fax preferences panel?<br />

I have very little experience of MAC, but we have a new MAC with Lion 10.7 OSx.<br />

I have a new Brother printer and the supplied software doesn't support the new Lion OS, so I downloaded an install package from the Brother website (three times already, and file size is OK when it comes down), but when I attempt to launch it, the program minimises down to the task bar and nothing happens ?<br />
