Exchange 2010 trial

Hello,
Is it possible to install Exchange 2010 trial and later install a licensed version (same version or upgrade) on top of it?  I am thinking to myself that this might be possible using /mode:RecoverServer parameter.

Regards
Yahya

You can actually install the trial and when you want to change to full version you can just put the License KEY.

just enter the valid product key for the respective edition

To enter the Exchange product key, please refer the following steps:

In the console tree, navigate to Server Configuration.

2. In the action pane, click Enter Product Key Group.

3. On the Enter Product Key page, enter the product key, and then click Enter.

4. On the Completion page, review the following, and then click Finish to close the wizard:
A status of Completed indicates that the wizard completed the task successfully.

A status of Failed indicates that the task wasn't completed. If the task fails, review the summary for an explanation, and then click Back to make any configuration changes.
