Exclude TV from SonicWALL Content Filter

Hey Everyone -

I am currently installing a television in a clients conference room. They bought a Vizio Television that has built in "web apps" that allow Pandora and Netflix to be viewed. Problem is that they have a SonicWALL with CFS (Content Filtering Service) enabled. When anyone opens a browser they are prompted to input their credentials which determines their browsing rights.

Is there a way I can exclude this TV by it's mac address or IP address? I just want to go straight out to the web.

If it's setup like shown here:
Step 3 part 2 you add another rule right above that allows the address object for that ip without a user group. Rules go in order and as soon as one matches it stops.

If you are using fixed ip addresses on the LAN, you can do it this way.

    1. Go to Security Services -> Content Filter
    2. Enable CFS Exclusion LIst
    3. Click ADD, and enter that one ip address as From and To

    Thats it!
