What is the best way to schedule future page updates to Facebook?

Hello experts.  I am trying to setup a way to have my site updated over the course of the day automatically, including social media updates.  I use Wordpress to schedule posts, I then use Tweetdeck to schedule Twitter updates for those posts.  However, I have not been able to find a way to schedule a Facebook update (on my site's page on FB) that A) works and B) includes the post's image.  I am using a plugin that specifies what image is supposed to be used when someone posts a link to Facebook...but for whatever reason when I try to schedule a post on FB, either through Tweetdeck or another service like Dlvr.it, it won't pull the image.  Or it treats it like a status update and NOT a link.

Is anyone successfully using a service/tool/plugin to do this AND pull in the right image?  Thanks in advance for your help.

Try HootSuite (HootSuite.com).  It's free, allows future posting, and if you point it at a Wordpress post, it will take the image and use it as a thumbnail for Facebook.  Alternately, i believe you can upload an image during the post composition.

Hi Jason1178:  Thanks for the response.  Just tried that and alas, it doesn't work.  It doesn't grab an image for Facebook (whether posting "live" or in the future) and it only lets you upload an image if you're posting to Twitter.  I appreciate the thought, though.

Any other candidates?
Shoot.

The only other way to do it is to find a good facebook plugin.  Will look around for you.

Many thanks for the response, Jason.  I'm assuming by that you mean a plugin within Wordpress that would send it to Facebook when it posts?

It's so very odd that this doesn't work out of the box with these tools...I wonder what's so different about a scheduled post vs. a "I'm doing it manually" post, especially if I've got the image identified for Facebook so it knows which one to grab.  Very odd.  The only thing I can figure is that these tools are treating these updates just like status updates instead of links.  So FB doesn't know to grab the image.  Perhaps.  Guessing on very little sleep here.  :-)

Thanks again.
No, you're right. Most of the methods treat this stuff as status updates.

Try this plugin:
