Approval Workflow for Annoucments

Morning everyone,

I am running Sharepoint Foundation 2010, and need to create a workflow for annoucements where if its approved then it goes live onto the site.

I have tried using Sharepoint Designer to no avail, must be doing something wrong. I know in SPF2010 you only get 3-Stage-Workflow OOB.

Can someone please tell me if a) this is possible and b) take me through the steps in Sharepoint Designer that I would need to do!

If you are fine with limited functionality, simply turn on the Require Content Approval for the Announcement List.

This is for WSS but the concept is same for 2010.

Thanks for the reply, and I doubt I need much more than Require Content Approval, but where do I turn that on? I can see it in any settings for the list?

Apologies if its a stupid question.

List Settings-> Versioning Settings
Under Content Approval, there should be a radio button to set it up. Make sure to check the "Draft Item Security" section to confirm the view settings.
