PC Power supply

I am looking at purchasing a PC and I am allowed a number of options.
It comes with 500 watt supply but allows you to upgrade. I have listed two options which I would consider.
1.) Greatwall GW550SEL 550 WATT TRUE POWER SUPPLY
2.) Widetech 750WATT True Power Supply
There are more selections but they specify for high gamer users are quite expensive.

I do not have any gaming requirements my use is mainly for Microsoft business applications the internet and watching videos, possibly a media centre.

Are there any advantages to changing the power supply and what will it do my electricity board at home?

I believe 500 Watt is enough.

The importance of Power Supply is not only the power value, but the quality, because it turns electricity from AC (your outlet) to DC (PC components).

Today, luckily, they should be all of good quality, and 500Watt, unless you buy plenty of additional components, is enough
