I would recommend trying to download a copy of the media player from microsoft, using the .exe you download you should be able to remove then re-install the media player.<br />
<br />
Or you could give up on it completely and use a 3rd part program, i would recommend VLC media Player.<br />

I cant find a copy of wmp 12 anywhere.. i found 11 but its tells me that it cant install due to a newer version already installed.
