Exchange 2007 - Second Storage Group Log Files

I have an Exchange 2007 EDB file with over 22,000 log files attached to it.
The EDB file is only 423MB --- but the log files have increased it to 22GIG.

What is my best approach to deleting these log files? Should I dismount and clean? Run the Exchange Util?
Do I need to keep them?

    Accepted Solution

do a backup of your exchange storage group after successful backup log files will automatically truncated. or you can also run offline defragmentation for this database using eseutil. but make sure you have valid backup for this database
