Combination fo Share and NTFS permissions are not cumulative. The most restrictive takes effect. So, mostly on Share you should grant everyone Full Control or remove that group and put there &quot;Authenticated Users&quot; with Full Control<br />

Then under Security tab (NTFS) configure restrictions, what users can do<br />

that's what I've been doing but the users are writting to the root and I don't want them too.
