regarding Sharepoint Site access from another server
Hi,
i m trying to access another sharepoint site (sharepoint 2010) . i m getting the following error message
The Web application at [url] could not be found. Verify that you have typed the URL correctly. If the URL should be serving existing content, the system administrator may need to add a new request URL mapping to the intended application.
Just i want to copy the data from one site to another site.
Note:Source and Destination sites are Sharepoint 2010. i m not able to pass credential to source site.
Thanks

What kind of authentication are you using? If its NTLM and both the sites are on the same domain, you should be good. If its on different domain you are out of luck and need custom SSO solutions.
Are you doing this through PowerShell or some type of script? That doesn't seem like an error the Browser would give you.
By default you aren't going to be able to access a web application in a different farm via PowerShell.
