Itunes Library

Hello Everyone,

The issue I caused is big and I feel like an idiot so any suggestions will be very appreciated.

Friday I was at a clients who is running winodws xp on his desktop and sbs2003. This is a new client and I though that moving his my documents folder to the server was the best thing to do. What I did not realize is that my music is under the my documents folder and if i move my documents, my music goes with it.

The issue i caused is all his itunes music is gone and library info too. I looked under c:\docs & sets\user\my documents\my music\itunes. All the music is there so I have restored back into itunes including any movies he had). The problem now is that there is no playlist info. All the music is unorganized and when i try to import the .itl file (itunes library file) it tells me that it cannit open the file because it is not a valid itunes library file. Is there any thing else I can look for to restore his library?

Any suggestions is a grea help.

Everything is the way its supposed to be on his phone since we have not synced his itunes and phone since my mistake. Is there a program or can it be done through itunes were we can copy whats on his phone over into itunes?

Is his "My Documents" directory and all its subdirectories still intact on the server you moved it to?  If so, close iTunes, and move My Documents and all of its contents back to the C: drive, exactly where it was before, then reopen iTunes.
done. the problem that I am having now is that when i import the library file it tells it cant open the library because its missing or corrupt. is there a way to take what is o the iphone and stick it into itunes. Keeping all the content organized just like it is on the iphone.

Thank you for the advice. Moving all data back to docs &sets...didnt do the trick but touch copy looks the best and easiest.
